Decisions, decisions!

Choosing between the tree surfaces and the wall surfaces is a bit difficult. They are all fascinating in different ways. I prefer the colours in the wall samples and they also have interesting shapes. The tree examples have lovely organic shapes but the colours are a bit more neutral. The tree rubbings were generally more successful than the wall rubbings. I wonder how they would translate into stitch as I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Sketchbook samples

These were done at various times over some years.

Felting and needle felting

I recently attended a day workshop on making felted flowers.

Previous Work

I have done some textile printing which I made into simple bags.

Testing post

Welcome to Itching to Stitch. I thought I would begin by posting some of my previous work.

This is a design I based on the Fibonacci series.
